Our Society is a registered UK educational charity, which welcomes a worldwide membership. Some of our members collect and transcribe information about Wiltshire people, which we make available online and through publications. We keep in touch through this website, our quarterly journal with member surname interests, regular branch meetings in Wiltshire and attending family history open days throughout southern England. Much more about us and membership is in our Members' Handbook and Constitution handbook.
Membership is through an annual subscription, which helps fund our Journal, Resource Centre and outreach activities.
The main benefit is receiving our quarterly Journal, supported by our member surname interest facility, extra data resources on this website and belonging to a friendly worldwide community with a common interest.’
Standard – A rolling membership year subscription for an individual residing anywhere, with the facility to add a family member living at the same address. Each subscription conveys one vote and one copy of our quarterly Journal.
Institution – Established to allow organizations to receive more than one set of our Journal.
